GEORGIAN WONDERLAND SEVEN-DAY ITINERARY
An exotic European destination with a 4,000-year-old heritage of culinary, nature and cultural greatness, nestled between the Caucasus Mountains
Nestled between the Caucasus Mountains, and an exotic European destination with a 4,000-year-old heritage of culinary, nature and cultural greatness, Georgia, the country, has emerged as one of the most surprising and breathtaking travel destinations of 2019. With it’s revitalized natural wine movement and slow cooking methods, pounding nightlife in Tbilisi, it’s capital city, abandoned Soviet-era structures, stylish boutique hotels and generally holistically warm hospitality, Georgia is an ideal destination for North American travelers to get a close encounter with a preserved and pristine culture.
No longer does this travel wonderland feel out of reach. We’ve traversed the land and left no stone unturned to bring you the most authentic, locally-sourced and engaging travel itinerary to Georgia to date. Our 7-day journey will bring guests thru the polyphonic chanting wine bars and restaurants of Tbilisi, thru the city’s heralded nightlife scene, and out into the wilderness of Georgia’s most undiscovered gems that only locals could unveil.
The itinerary is produced and lead by Georgian Experience, Breanna J. Wilson and Eager Tourist, and includes all meals, activities, hotel stays, experiences and access to all that Georgia has to offer. From fermentation experiences with former employees of Noma, visits to natural wineries, chef-led cooking workshops, singing experiences, hiking, dancing, eating, enjoying, the Georgia Excursion will include:
Day 1: Gamarjoba, Georgia! Polyphonic music, natural wines and chacha, there’s no time to waste in Tbilisi…
Day 2: Sulfur Baths, Brutalist Buildings and Black Lion, oh my!
Day 3: Step Back in Time in Tskaltubo, Georgia’s Abandoned Soviet-era Sanitorium Ghost Town
Day 4: The Great (Georgian) Outdoors
Day 5: Wash the Sins Away in Borjomi
Day 6: Crawl Through Caves (and Drink More Wine!) in Vardzia
Day 7: Mingle with Artists and Soak up the Last of Your Georgian Experience at Garikula
