At Yuri & Asia’s house, every thing comes alive: the natural light, the smell of Tamar’s cooking, faint sounds of laughter, as if emanating from the trees. The magical house tucked away in the western Galilee of Israel the near border of Lebanon is fashioned entirely from upcycled, found and restored furnitures by Yuri, a well known Israeli artist, and Asia, an art curator, who have lived in this cinematic domicile for the past decade.
It took several years and my best friend’s birthday to finally bring me into the house in Adamit, where you feel transported to another plane of existence removed from the doldrums of today. Just simple light, lush mountain views, the company of a few friends, my husband, and this glazing beauty.
