Sushi Noz is the type of experience that forces you to block out distractions and focus on the very piece of delicate and transformative dish in the Edomae-style menu that has manifested the restaurant’s well deserved Michelin Star. While the guy next to me carefully jotted down each dish in a cramped black notebook — as if he were at a Phish concert and every song mattered — I could not be distracted from the momentous third wedding anniversary I was celebrating with my wife.

Half of the ingredients prepared and served were those that I could not recognize at first taste, but for the better. Each bite is a burst of subtle and distinct flavor that births a style in its own. From the design and greetings to meticulous service and its clandestine location, Sushi Noz sets a very high standard for what gourmet dining could be.
